Terms & Conditions
These are the terms and conditions which form the basis on which bookings are accepted by Black Leader Athens. As our Terms and Conditions contain legal obligations, we encourage you to read them carefully. By using our company’s website, you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately. Black Leader Athens may change these Terms and Conditions online at any time.
- All our transfers and tours are made by luxury Mercedes taxis and mini buses. Our vehicles are in perfect mechanical and external condition, and they all have air conditioning and GPS System.
- The price for specific taxi transfer services is defined by the legislation of the Ministry of Transport, while the pricing of all other transfers and tours has been determined by the car type, the distance in kilometers, the service provided, and the specific circumstances. Please contact Black Leader Athens to receive accurate pricing of the services you wish to receive.
- All transfer and tour services may change in case of unexpected events, such as extreme weather, strikes, closed roads due to mobilizations, etc.
- Our clients should inform us if any of the passengers carried has a health problem that needs special attention and / or treatment.
Reservation
The online reservation system used by BLA (Black Leader Athens) features secure server technology in order to ensure full encryption of your data and provide maximum security transmission over the internet.
Confirmation of Reservation
Your booking shall be completed as soon as we receive your reservation form. We will then send you an e-mail confirming your booking and providing you with all necessary information. Reservation is finalized only upon receipt of BLA confirmation e-mail.
Payment Options
A deposit of 20%, which can be paid by Bank Transfer, credit card, or via Pay Pal, is required to confirm your reservation. Black Leader Athens accepts Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners, and American Express cards. Payment will be listed as Black Leader Athens on the credit card statement.
The rest of the amount must be paid up to 48 hours prior to the agreed date and time of the tour or transfer.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the agreed date and time will not be charged. Bookings cancelled within the last 48 hours prior to the agreed date and time will be fully charged. If you are on board a ship and your ship does not -due to bad weather or for any other reason -dock, you will not be charged.
Change & Cancellation
Please note that alterations or cancellations should only be made via e-mail to info@blackleaderathens.com. BLA has to acknowledge receipt by e-mail of any changes or cancellations in order for them to be valid. We would appreciate it if we were notified of any changes at your earliest convenience.
Prices
Prices listed on our website can change without notice. Once you have booked and also prepaid for a tour, price will not change unless there is a change in taxes by the Greek Government.
Prices do not include:
Licensed tour guide, airport, port or cruise terminal pick-up and drop- off, personal items, entrance fee at museums, archaeological sites and wineries, lunches and drinks. Gratuities are at your discretion and are really appreciated if given.
Guides
Guides lecture in English unless there is a previous arrangement to lecture in another language. You can ask us for available guides who lecture in other languages, and we will check their availability.
Amendments
Fast-track prepaid entrance tickets or boat cruises cannot be amended. BLA does not charge a fee to amend or change the dates of an existing booking as long as the request is received by our team more than seven (7) days ahead of your confirmed travel date, and that has been subject to availability by our service providers.
Pick-up points
You should advise our office of the hotel that you wish to be picked up from in order to start the tour. We can also pick you up from Athens Airport or Piraeus Port and start the tour from these points at extra cost. For any other destinations please send us an email.
Our company bears no responsibility if there is no access to the point indicated. In this case we will move to board the nearest point.
Tour information
We may, at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour if we consider their acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and we shall have no further liability. We reserve the right to use vehicles as dictated by demand. We also reserve the right to alter at any time any price, place visited, or itinerary owing to unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to advise passengers in advance of any alterations which are deemed necessary. In the event of any passenger not being carried for any cause whatsoever, no liability will be accepted by the operators beyond the refund of the fares.
Luggage
One suitcase not exceeding 25 kg (55 lbs) in weight and a piece of hand luggage per person. Luggage is carried at the passengers’ own risk and must be collected by them.
Passports & visas
A Passport valid for Greece must be carried and it is your responsibility to ascertain from local Embassy of Greece what (and if) any kind of visa is required.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the vehicles but all tours make frequent stops.
Food and drink
In the interest of the safety and comfort of all passengers, we ask you not to bring hot food or drinks into the vehicle.
Lost property
Whilst every effort is made to return lost property, BLA cannot be held responsible for property left on the vehicle. Property found must be collected from our office, for those participating in our Athens tours. All the others should speak to our Customer Care team.
Accident or loss
We have no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our employees’ negligence, in which case our liability is limited to a maximum of the refund of the tour cost. We do not own or manage the ships, accommodation and restaurants used and we have no liability for loss or damage caused by the proprietors or operators thereof. Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tour.
Personal insurance
It is not included. Please ask your Insurance broker.
Third party products
Tickets bought through third party suppliers may carry a different set of terms of conditions for which we are not responsible. Please read carefully the cancellation details written on your tickets.
General conditions
Each tour operates to sufficient demand. In case places of interest are closed, or road conditions en – route prevent the tour as advertised being operated, every endeavor will be made to substitute an alternative, but the company reserves the right to cancel or alter arrangements.
No servant or agent of ours can vary our conditions and any such purposed variation shall be of no effect unless it has been signed by one of our directors. All matters concerning this booking shall be subject to Greek Law.
