Acropolis Hill

Our tour begins with a visit to the Acropolis Hill where you can see the Odeon of Herod’s Atticus, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, and of course, the Parthenon.

This Acropolis Day tour offers the opportunity to explore one of UNESCO's top world heritage monuments. From the Acropolis, you can also walk down to the Ancient Agora, the Tower of the Winds, Monastiraki, and Plaka, a commercial area where the old and modern coexist in harmony, reminiscent of the East and West.

Panathenaic Stadium

You will visit the Panathenaic Olympic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, the only major stadium entirely built of white marble and one of the oldest in the world. It's considered the “sports jewel” of the city that hosted the revival of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 and it is full of images of a glorious past.

Syntagma Square

Next, you will move from the "historical center"of the ancient city to today’s center, the Syntagma Square and the Parliament Building, where you can see the ceremony of the Changing of the Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and many shops with impressive windows. From here, you will continue to Panepistimiou Street to see numerous neoclassical buildings still standing and dating back to the late 19th century, such as The Academy, The University and The National Library.

Lycabettus Hill 

Finally, you will be driven to Lycabettus Hill (the highest hill of Athens) for the best panoramic view of the city, offering great photo opportunities. At the end of the tour, your private transfer will escort you to the port, airport, or your hotel.
