This tour is designed to showcase that the beautiful Greek coastlines are not exclusive to the Greek Islands. It begins with a drive along the Athenian Riviera and the upscale southern suburbs of Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni, and Varkiza.

Vouliagmeni Lake

Our next stop is the Vouliagmeni Lake, a natural lake famed for its mineral-rich curative waters.

This hot-springs-fed lake, just a few meters away from the sea, is set against a huge jutting offering a landscape of unique beauty to all visitors.

Cape Sounio, Temple of Poseidon

Continuing our drive through Attica countryside and charming areas with stunning views of the Saronic Gulf, we reach Cape Sounio, an archaeological site located at the southeastern tip of the Attica peninsula. Upon entering the site, visitors are greeted by the impressive Temple of Poseidon, dedicated to the ancient Greek God of the Sea. The remains of the fornication, gateway porticos, and houses also add to the site's historical significance. Cape Sounio is well-known for its incredible sunset and panoramic view of the Greek Islands, rightfully earning its reputation as one of the most romantic destinations in Greece, a place Lord Byron cherished and wrote about.

After exploring the site, we will head to a local seaside tavern, which serves fresh fish for lunch. Finally, you will enjoy a leisurely drive back to Athens.
