Wine Tasting in Attica (4 hours)

The Queen's Tower Estate, also known as the estate Pyrgos Vasilissis, was created as a model agricultural facility under the vision of Queen Amalia of Greece. This estate was intended to promote innovative production methods to modernize Greek agronomy in the 19^th century.

Visit to the winery 

One of the first plantations on the estate was a vineyard, which consisted of 18 hectares and was established with the assistance of experienced viticulturists from Megara. Today, the estate's vineyard covers four hectares, and it is cultivated organically, along with the rest of the property's plantations (including pistachio and olive trees). The vineyard features both Greek and European wine grape varieties in both red and white.

A tour around Queen Amalia and King Otto’s Tower & surrounding gardens

The tour of the Tower is a unique experience that lasts 2.5 hours. The tour commences with a reception at the estate's buildings, followed by a visit to the Tower monument, both indoors and outdoors. However, visitors must remove their shoes to protect the beautiful parquet-marquetry floor when touring the second floor of the Tower. The tour also includes a walk through the estate's gardens, stables, and organic vineyard as well as a visit to the winery.

Wine tasting with cheese and homemade Greek pies

At the conclusion of the tour, visitors are offered a wine tasting with accompanying pies of greens and local cheese.
